What is a Personal Care Aide?
A Personal Care Aide or PCA at Home Aides of Rockland is a member of a home care team. The PCA is a certified paraprofessional who is trained and supervised to provide care to an individual in the home.
If you like helping people and you are reliable, and you are considering a career in health care, training as a PCA may be the right place to start. Applicants must be 18 years or older and able to legally work in the United States. Please call or email to begin the process towards becoming a PCA.
If you are already certified as a PCA or HHA, please contact us for the requirements to become an employee at Home Aides of Rockland.
Our training programs are free and approved by the New York State Department of Health.
